It’s important to the Cluey Education Team that every learner feels confident in their understanding and ready to tackle any assignment. We have a bank of resources and units ready to support creative and persuasive writing – plus grammar and spelling to give that final polish.

Meet Dr Selina Samuels
Dr Samuels and her Education team developed Cluey's unique CENTRE approach, and have created interactive learning programs that map to the curriculum and allow students to work at their own level and pace.
English Tutoring Program Based on the Curriculum
Cluey's Intermediate English learning programmes are based on the New Zealand Curriculum for K-6 and focus on core literacy skills, including reading and writing techniques in the early years, and grammar and punctuation in the senior years. Our personalised approach gives your child the opportunity to slow down in the areas they find challenging to ensure they ‘get it’.

Through her teaching experience she has worked with students with diverse learning needs and enjoys being able to adapt her teaching approach to best suit her students. Jacqui is a nurturing tutor who creates a safe environment for her students to feel they can ask any question they need.

Lill is studying a Bachelor of Clinical Science at Macquarie University with 5 years of tutoring experience. Lill has a vast amount of experience of working with students with special needs and she has tutored students in the past with both Asperger's Syndrome and gifted and talented students. She has a kind and friendly approach, is patient and committed to her students. Lill aims to deliver engaging and enjoyable lessons to students of all abilities to help them achieve and exceed their academic goals.
Natiq
University Student (Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts)
English: Primary, Intermediate & Secondary
Natiq completed his Higher School Certificate in 2016, achieving an ATAR of 99. He then went on to complete his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Majoring in Politics and International Relations) in 2017. In 2018 he commenced his Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Arts (Majoring in International Relations) at the University of New South Wales. He has been tutoring since 2017. Natiq works closely with his students to assist with their essay writing and textual analysis.

Weekly learning through live tutoring sessions, feedback & practice
Each student’s individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.

First 5 Minutes
Establishing the session theme, why are we here?
- Discuss student’s areas of focus (if first session)

- Set session learning goals

During the session
- Work through exercises based on the topics and concepts for each learning goal
